Life is short and part of who we are as human beings lies in the ways we learn, grow and give to each other. Capturing a memory, image or a moment in time that could bring joy, inspiration or revelation to others through photography fuels Jeff Groves’ passion.

Like many of us, Jeff became interested photography as he traveled and now fully understands that all too often, as we become consumed in our busy lives it is easy to overlook the art and beauty that is around us everyday, in our own homes, our own backyards and our own communities. Sometimes we take what we see everyday for granted.

As a native to Charlotte Jeff Groves has put is heart in “finding beauty in where we live”. Jeff was drawn to the Catawba River and hopes that you will take a moment to share in the appreciation caught in a moment and found in our own backyard and remember that sometimes we take what we see everyday for granted.

Jeff will continue to pursue that “perfect picture” (even though there’s no such thing) and will do his best to enjoy the journey along the way.

In addition to portrait, freelance and artistic endeavors, Jeff also works with a national portrait photography company as a sports and special events photographer.
