Mitch Woodward, Area Specialized Agent – Watersheds/Water Quality at NC State University and recognized expert on backyard rain gardens will present “Who’ll Stop the Rain?” to explain the need for and inexpensive methods for area homeowners to create effective ways to capture run-off headed for Lake Norman carrying pollutants such as fertilizer, pesticides, sediment, motor oil, litter, and pet and yard waste.
