Water Watchers are trained volunteers who are the network of eyes, ears and voice of the Catawba River.

Led by our Riverkeeper, this training will include instruction on the latest techniques, procedures, legal aspects, and historical knowledge to properly monitor our river basin. There is also an outdoor, in-the-field component.

Training is free and open to the public. All necessary materials will be provided. No previous knowledge is needed. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet or dirty. Lunch will be provided.
