Oil spill on Catawba leads to eight-month sentence for man hired to raze Gaston building.

A Lincolnton man will spend eight months in federal prison and be fined a quarter-million dollars after pleading guilty to spilling thousands of gallons of fuel oil into the Catawba River, officials said Tuesday.
