Lake Wylie Riversweep Information
Catawba Riverkeeper and the Lake Wylie Covekeepers organize and conduct a lake cleanup event every year on the first Saturday of October. This is a great opportunity for individuals, groups and families to help cleanup the River and have a lot of fun.
The 8th Annual Lake Wylie Riversweep will be held on Saturday October 2th. Sponsored by the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation, the Lake Wylie Marine Commission, and the Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce, this is the one day of the year the Lake Wylie community unites to clean up the lake.
To pick up free trash bags and gloves and to qualify for door prizes to be awarded at the after event party at T-Bones at the lake, check in at 9 a.m. with site captains at the following locations:
