The Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation Annual Meeting will feature a State of the River presentation by the Riverkeeper and you will be able to tour the water treatment plant and the Blue Planet Environmental Center.

The Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation Annual Meeting will start at 10:30a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at the Lee Dukes Water Treatment Plant in Huntersville, NC. The business meeting will feature a presentation by Catawba Riverkeeper David Merryman on the State of the River. Lunch will be held from 11:30 to 12:30 and tours of the water treatment facility and Blue Planet educational showroom will begin after lunch (12:30-1:30pm).

The Lee Dukes Water Treatment Plant is just off of Hwy. 73 below Lake Norman. The address is:
