Come enjoy the serenity of the changing fall leaves along the hills surrounding beautiful Lake James, the uppermost lake of the Catawba River Basin.

Hike moderately in the beautiful Linville Gorge during the morning, and follow that with a gentle paddle on the clear waters of Lake James.

Bring-your-own-boat (canoe or kayak) to the Hidden Cove Access Area between 12pm and 1pm on October 16th and join us for this relaxing flatwater paddling excursion. If you don't have a boat, please contact Tracy at 704-679-9494 to arrange for a kayak rental ($25/trip).

We will launch promptly at 1pm.
