The Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation (CRF) is thrilled to announce the hiring of a new Program Director – Haley Tedder!
Haley’s position is funded through a grant from the Women’s Impact Fund. She’ll be working closely with Riverkeeper Brandon Jones as well as leading CRF’s education programs.
Haley is a Charlotte native who earned a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in chemistry at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.
Before CRF, she was an educator for UNCW’s MarineQuest and Fort Caswell Environmental Stewardship programs. She also worked as an Environmental Specialist for Duke Energy. Haley is passionate about educating the local community and preserving local water quality.
“We are so excited for Haley to be joining the Catawba Riverkeeper team! Her experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit world working with the environment is going to be a huge addition to our team in her role as Program Director. I am excited to see how our educational programs in particular are going to grow and flourish under her leadership because of her passion for and experience in environmental education,” says John Searby, Executive Director.
When you see Haley at an upcoming event, be sure to give her a warm welcome!
