Conservation Camp: June 21-25

Catawba Riverkeeper’s Conservation Camp, exclusively for rising 6-8 graders, will focus on the interconnectedness of the ecosystems that make up the Catawba River Basin. Campers will explore all parts of the ecosystem – from the micro to the macro – no stone will be left unturned!

Conservation Camp will also feature some special guests (rehabilitated wildlife)! Together, we’ll learn about why what we as humans do matters to the environment and how to conserve and take care of the nature around us.

Dates: June 21-25 (Monday-Friday)
Times: 8:45 AM Dropoff – 4 PM Pickup
Location: The Boathouse (115 Willow Dr, McAdenville, NC)
BYO lunch and weather appropriate clothing – rain or shine!

Registration Fee: $250

Wild Carolina Camp: August 9-13

For the first time ever, local environmental nonprofits are coming together to bring local rising 5th and 6th graders an action-packed outdoor adventure camp!

Each day will be a unique experience with visits from nature and wildlife experts!

Participating partners include: Carolina Raptor Center, Anne Springs Close Greenway, Catawba Lands Conservancy, and TreesCharlotte.
