Site Captains Needed! Site Captains are volunteers who serve as leaders on the day of Riversweep by managing check-in and supply distribution. They also fill out a trash tally sheet for their site. Sometimes they also help with some pre-event tasks like securing dumpster/port-a-potties and picking up cleanup supplies. No experience necessary. All you need is a helpful, can-do attitude! Sites Captains are particularly needed at: Lookout Shoals Charlotte Creeks/Streams If you’re interested in becoming a Site Captain, email riversweep@catawbariverkeeper.org.  If you want to be a Site Captain somewhere that is not listed as a Riversweep Site, email riversweep@catawbariverkeeper.org to start a conversation.

After Party!

All volunteers are invited to the Riversweep After Party at The Boathouse. Join us from 12-6 to celebrate a successful cleanup day! Food trucks, beer, cornhole, and kayaking!

Catawba Riversweep 2021 is presented by the Catawba-Wateree Water Management Group and is supported by partners, sponsors, and individual donors!
