Join Catawba Riverkeeper friends for a 5.7 mile paddle down the Catawba River below the Bridgewater Dam in Morganton, NC.

*This is a bring your own boat event.*

Join us on this beautiful stretch of river that includes Class I and Class II rapids.

Expect to see herons, king fishers, bald eagles, and lots of turtles!

We’ll eat a picnic lunch (bring your own) along the banks of the River.

Shuttle service from the take-out to the launch site is included (less than 15 minutes). Masks must be worn on the shuttle bus.

Time: 11 AM – 3 PM
Location: Meet at the Public Fishing Area (5520 Powerhouse Rd, Morganton, NC). Take-out will be at Watermill (744 Watermill Glen Alpine Rd, Morganton, NC)
