Catawba Riverkeeper will offer Spring Break Camps for 3rd-8th Grade students at our new headquarters in McAdenville, NC. Two, 3-day camps will run the week of March 15 and again April 5, to coordinate with both public and private school schedules.

Session 1: March 15-18
Session 2: March 18-20
Session 2: April 5-7
Session 4: April 7-9

Camps will focus on environmental education topics related to water quality, water eco-systems, conservation, plastics/pollution, and wildlife.

Students will engage in hands-on lessons with our trained educators in both classroom and in the field environments. One day for each session will be an on-the-water kayaking day!

Campers will get dirty, wet, and excited about the environment and taking care of their planet.

Camp fees are $150 and include all educational materials, snacks, kayaking equipment and instruction. Students will need to bring their own lunch each day. Camps run from 9 AM – 4 PM.

Registration is coming soon.

Catawba Riverkeeper’s Spring Break Camps will follow COVID-19 Safety guidelines. Registration will be limited.

In the Summer of 2020 we produced a virtual Summer Camp Program called “Camp in a Box!” The program was a huge success and we hope to build on this in 2021.
