Educators are the lead instructors for the implementation of Catawba Riverkeeper educational programs under the supervision of the Education Manager. They assist with curriculum development and execution, group management, and assessment for adult and youth programs. They provide outreach and engagement through educational programs about the Catawba Wateree River Basin and the mission of Catawba Riverkeeper. This position is seasonal to part-time with the majority of programs scheduled during the summer months and some during the school year.
The Recreation Lead is responsible for being the face of the organization through recreational experiences offered to the public. They oversee and execute recreation programs from set-up to breakdown through high quality service while educating staff and guests about the area’s waterway and the mission of Catawba Riverkeeper. There may be cross-over opportunities to support Education programs as available.
The Recreation Technician is responsible for the successful execution of the Catawba Riverkeeper’s recreation programs. In this role, the Recreation Technician will assist with “on the water” programming, “land based” programming, and preparation, maintenance, and inventory of Catawba Riverkeeper's recreation supplies.
