Program Topics

Water Quality and Quantity

We don't just need clean water. We need plentiful water, too! Learn about threats to water quality and quantity.

Water Quality Issues

Not only will we explain the issues that threaten the quality of our water locally, we'll teach your group what we can do about it.

Water Sampling

Learn how to collect a water sample and test it for various parameters.

Participants will walk away with a sense of responsibility and stewardship for their local environment

Our programs are educational AND inspiring.

Group Size & Pricing

Off-the-Water Programs

  • 10 participant minimum for all education programs
  • 10-14 participants – $12 per participant
  • 15-40 participants – $175 for group

Programs are approximately 1.5 hours in length.


For groups larger than 50 please contact Education Manager for more details.


On-the-Water Programs

  • $25 per participant
  • Maximum of 15 participants


Programs are approximately 2.5 hours in length.

Please contact the Education Department at education@catawbariverkeeper.org for more details or to request a program. Program requests must be received no later than 6-weeks before the requested program date. This does not guarantee the requested date’s availability.
