Safety & Age Requirements

For your safety and the safety of all other attendees, we recommend that all children and minors under 18 be accompanied by an adult and all children ages 4-8 be in a craft with an adult. We do not recommend bringing children ages 3 and under.

All participants should also be equipped with a personal flotation device (PFD). All children ages 13 and under are required to wear a coast guard rated PFD at all times while on the water. Should you choose a "bring your own kayak" ticket option, please note that we will not have extra PFDs available for you to use. All other ticket options will come with a PFD and paddle.

FAQs

Are innertubes allowed?

While innertubes and other inflatables are permitted, we do not recommend them. If you do decide to participate with a tube, we strongly encourage you to attach your float to a friend's kayak or bring your own paddle to help you keep up with the stage and not be left behind.

Where will the Floating Concert begin and end?

The Floating Concert will begin at 4:00 PM at the McAdenville Greenway Boat Launch. Signs will direct you toward where to check-in with your tickets, pick up any rented boats, and put your boats in the water. Our staff will be there to help make this process as easy as possible! The concert will be on the water for two hours and will end in downtown Cramerton at the Centennial Center River Access at 6:00 PM. Our staff will be there to help you exit the water.

I've never kayaked before. Can I still attend the Floating Concert?

Absolutely! This section of the river is what we normally call our "Slow Flow" paddle, meaning that it is perfect for beginners and seasoned kayakers alike!

Is a Shuttle Service provided?

Yes! See the Shuttle Service section above for details. Please note that the shuttle will only be available prior to the concert from 1:00 - 3:30 PM.
