Full Moon Paddle with River Warrior Ann Rose

This Full Moon Paddle will be held on August 9 from 7 - 10 PM.

Join us for a Full Moon Paddle on the South Fork River with River Warrior Ann Rose!

River Warrior is a documentary that tells the story of one woman’s journey into the heart of America’s watersheds—1,895 miles powered by nothing but a paddle, peddles, determination, and the belief that water is worth fighting for. In July 2024, Ann Rose launched her kayak into a creek near her farm and began her journey from the Appalachian Mountains to the Gulf. Along the way, she passed through the living veins of the country—rivers that nourish towns, farms, and ecosystems, but are too often neglected or threatened. This journey wasn’t just about endurance—it was about honoring the rivers and raising awareness for the need to protect them.

For this event, we'll begin the evening at Confluence at 7 pm for a Q&A session with Ann and a preview of the River Warrior documentary that was made about her journey. After that, we'll head to the South Fork River for a night paddle under the full moon with the River Warrior herself. The Full Moon Paddle will take participants around Goat Island in the heart of Cramerton, NC.

Everyone is welcome to join us at Confluence for the Q&A with Ann, but tickets for the Full Moon Paddle are limited, so grab yours now using the button below!
