Join us in building an on-the-water community dedicated to connecting people with their local waterways through recreation, education, and stewardship. Whether you're an experienced paddler or just getting started, the Catawba Riverkeeper Paddling Club offers a welcoming way to explore the river while caring for it.


Paddling Club Mission Statement

The Catawba Riverkeeper Paddling Club exists to connect people to the river through paddling experiences that build skills, foster community, and inspire lifelong stewardship of the Catawba-Wateree River Basin.

Paddling Club Events

Quarterly Engagement Model: 

  • 1 Educational Event 
  • 2 On-Water Paddling Experiences 
  • 1 Social/Community Event 



Additional Opportunities: 

  • Pop-up paddles based on water levels, weather, and seasonal conditions 
  • Special trips highlighting unique locations and river stories 


Paddling Club Membership Fees

Base Requirement: 

  • Active Catawba Riverkeeper Membership - $60/year


Kayak Club Add-On: 

  • $30/year
