Ambassadors

Ambassadors

Ambassadors serve as an extension of the organization to promote our mission to preserve, protect, and restore the waters of the Catawba-Wateree River Basin for all through education, advocacy, and engagement. Trained Ambassadors promote our mission and initiatives at festivals, outdoor events, and promotional tabling events throughout the year across the basin. If you believe in the work the Catawba Riverkeeper is doing and have been looking for a way to get more involved, come check out our Ambassador Program and help us develop a deeper involvement in the community.

Ambassador training will provide all the resources and information you need to speak on behalf of the Catawba Riverkeeper. All of our training opportunities offer both in person and virtual options. If you like talking to people and want to help make a difference, come be a Lorax for the water with us!

If you have questions or are interested in supporting our mission through volunteerism or community science, contact Volunteer & Community Science Manager Kaity D’Angelo at Kaity.d@catawbariverkeeper.org.
